Your Body is Not Fragile
A scan can tell you a lot about what's happening in your body,
It can't tell you how much pain you should be in. Many of the things we find on an X-ray or MRI, like arthritis, meniscus tears, or disc changes, are about as common and normal as wrinkles on your face, and plenty of people have them with no pain at all.
Pain is a protective signal managed by the brain, not a one to one measurement of damage. What you feel is 100% real, and it's very physical. But when pain lingers, it's easy to start seeing your body as fragile or broken, and for most people, that just isn't the full picture. Your body is more resilient than you've been told, and it's okay to get curious about how safe it feels, instead of only asking what's wrong with it.
